Prince Bandar bin Abdullah Al-Mishari, Saudi Arabia’s assistant minister of interior for technology affairs
Prince Bandar bin Abdullah Al-Mishari is the assistant minister of interior for technology affairs.
He recently inaugurated a forum in Riyadh that focused on the digital transformation of Civil Defense operations.
The forum was part of an ambitious strategic plan to enhance and upgrade the quality of Civil Defense services, and to inform delegates about the latest IT innovations in the field.
Prince Bandar was director general of the Interior Ministry’s National Information Center from 2008 to 2013.
In 1985, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from King Saud University (KSU).
In 1988, he received his master’s in electronic engineering from the same university. In 1994, he obtained his Ph.D. in electronic engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
In 2006, Prince Bandar was promoted to associate professor at the KSU’s College of Engineering.
He has participated in more than 20 academic conferences in his area of specialization, and has published more than 24 arbitrated and academic research papers.
He has supervised many research projects, and has participated in supervision and examination committees for master’s degrees and Ph.Ds.
